lyrics

A voice so deeply entombed, profound
In the nether of reminiscence

In solace he rattles the cage, disturbed by abandonment.
Atonement is bliss for those who refuse to drown in darkness
The whine and the whimper deceive me
Waning echoes of wisdom, timeless
Entrenched in an endless silence

Your weakness lies within the rut of burying
What upsets this fragile entity.
Stripped of its weight, await the light of a new daybreak

A new palette for the painting,
A tale of thrill in creating new shades of colourful reality
Wash away the old and gray

Treading playfully is the essence
Thrive and reminisce
And as you leave the past behind
Embrace this lively tone once and for all

Looking through the pages of an
Eerie map set in stone
Where every outcome sends a chilling burst
Right to the bone

With vacuous pathways to seduce
The simple minded drone
And faux pill remedies to fool
You into feeling strong

Deface the sculpture, erase the maker
Tumbling stone by stone
Devoid of subject as a canvas
Which is worn and done
To find the bare despair of
Souls standing now long forlorn

Oh how endearing it is
To find meaning
In vacuous trauma
Simply not for-

Given in a vacuum
Of the unbeknownst
Static in desolate stasis
There is no escaping time
In its immense
Abyssal profoundness

A blackened well of shimmering virtue
But the truth is not what we're into
Curse the lies we tell
To remind ourselves
The status quo is here to see us dwell

Walk in a straight line ‘till your feet give in
The murky waters embracing this vessel of sin
Tied up and cut out, the fish gouge out your eyes
As those you’ve known as peers are standing idle by

They'll watch you
Sinking through the ebbs and flows
At risk of death
Yet stagnant while you

Without a sense of self
The individual fell into a pretend slumber
From which it won't awake

Demagogues and preachers
Make the choir
Sing the Doublespeak

Oh how endearing it is
To find meaning
In vacuous trauma
Simply not for-

Buried before your time
Red on your door
Take to the skies

There won’t be peace for your kind
Believe in the reckoning
The creed of blind

Relinquish the throne
In favor of none
No regents to reject
Allegiances to regret
The covetous miscreants
Collapse under their defects

Oh how it hurts to find your
Wondrous inquisitiveness
Has paid off in the shape of constant regret
such a mess

As you search for your scars you tear open the wound
By mistake, welcome to life outside your cocoon

Live up to yourself, could you ever
Avoid self-deception, endeavours to cover up
the constants, that won’t ever set you free
from a looped way to live you repeat like a creed

Oh how it burns to be you…

An ever present regret of our kind
‘Cause time won’t wind back
And your dreams will be set aside
As you become akin only to survive

If only, the wondering
if ever, the nether
You wandered through tethered
Like a swan to a feather
Could match the storm you shall weather

Earth water wind and fire
Get to conspire
Always some demon getting
All of the blame

An Indulging indolent condoning condolence
For wasting his chance at existence

Loyal, never pledged allegiance to anyone
Faithful, never believed not even in himself
In the crosshairs of destroy and erase
There is a special place…
